This square is in memory of the trees that were cut down and taken away from the FCCS playground. For many years they provided shade in the warm weather, a place for children to play in the fallen leaves, and a spot for Rudy and his friends to play lego under protecting branches. My son cried when he returned after Christmas break to find the trees had disappeared. No one heard our cries to stop the cutting – very sad!
