My family moved from Alberta in 1934. We attended Errington School for 4 months in 1935, then moved to Coombs and attended the French Creek School until December 1939 when we moved to Hilliers and we attended the Hilliers School. Eventually we attended Qualicum Beach High School. We always had to ride our bicycles. I have great grandchildren attending the French Creek School and one in Kindergarten right now - September of 2012. My teachers were Eileen Best (Krog) for Grade 2, 3, & 4 and Innes Grieg in Grade 5. I had many grandchildren attend FCCS – Anne’s, Cyril’s, Barry’s and David’s all attended. Don Brittain’s children and grandchildren attended the school. Glady’s lives on Sid and Sadie’s place. Bob lives on Grafton Avenue.
