One of my teachers, Flora Reddyhoff, always encouraged us to use our imagination. She would get us to draw imaginary animals and they would be displayed around the classroom. I have created my imaginary animal on my quilt square. Many of Mrs Reddyhoff’s students went on to excel in high school and beyond. I’m sure it’s because, as Einstein said, “imagination is everything.”
